SHERRY MURPHY
Finance Director
Sherry has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Accounting and Business from Drury University in Springfield, MO. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting working in such industries as banking and trust, broadcasting, advertising, oil, global geospatial intelligence, software, and financial services. She is experienced in international accounting and multi-cultural environments.
Throughout her career, Sherry has embraced her leadership roles and used her strong analytical skills to solve complex issues under high pressure. She is dedicated to quality and accuracy and believes in the importance of being a change leader and critical thinker who can provide situational flexibility and conflict resolution.
In 2018, she started her own accounting consulting company, Quality Accounting Solutions. “It is very rewarding to provide financial services and analytical expertise which helps my clients make informed strategic decisions. I have worked with Learning Empowered for over three years, and find the team a pleasure to work with. They are very passionate about the agency’s mission and dedicated to providing support to families through educational programs and services.”
Sherry enjoys travel, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
