ROBERT BRUSO
Facilities Manager
Robert (Bob) Bruso is a Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He started in construction field as an apprentice in the carpenter’s union. He worked his way up to a journeyman carpenter. Bob owned a construction company for 8 years in his home state of Vermont. He relocated his family to Florida in 1982.
Bob has over 50 years of construction and facilities management experience. He joined Learning Empowered in January of 2013 to oversee the start of the three QELI sites. He retired from Learning Empowered at the end of 2020. After three years of retirement, he came back to Learning Empowered in January of 2024 to fill the position of Facilities Manager.
Bob’s hobbies are reading, woodworking, and spending time with family.
