Jenny is a Florida native, growing up on the gulf beaches. She attended college on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and spent 18 years there before returning home. She holds a Masters degree in Education and has worked in the field of early learning education since the age of 16, when she started as a teaching assistant in a preschool program.

Jenny has worked solely in nonprofit programs during her career and always in the field of education with a focus on trauma and mental health for young children. She is also the President and founder of the Pinellas Early Educators United Association which offers a unified voice for early childhood educators to address inequities within the profession and the children and families served. She continues to advocate for teachers who have the most difficult jobs, and the children they serve, with a special focus on the most vulnerable populations. She loves being a wife and Mom to two wonderful sons and has an affinity for comedy and fun because laughter truly can be the best medicine!
