Circles Pinellas County

Circles Pinellas seeks to provide a process and resources for families to take the next step out of poverty. We seek to inspire and equip communities to reduce poverty and remove the barriers that stand in the way by pairing trained Circle Leaders, who are currently living in poverty, with volunteer Allies, who are middle- and high-income volunteers. The Leaders are encouraged and supported on their journey to complete an 18-month program proven to inspire and equip families and communities to resolve poverty and thrive. In doing so, we strive to maintain transparency with stakeholders, nurture supportive and accountable relationships, and create long-term personal and systemic change. The curriculum was created with the help of landlords, social service agencies and committed volunteers.
